Tainted Blood
The alarms sharp ring awoke me from my, weird yet enjoyable dreams. Great, another long boring day at school. I mean what is the point of school any way? who said that we want to be inteligent? it just makes life even less satisfying. After a tourtourous minute of letting my pathetic mind drift over the hidden part of my conscience, the horrific part, I crept of my bed and slipped into my dull grey gown. I dragged my feet along the wooden flooring as i headed towards the door to the landing. My thin, boney hand wrapped around the old, brass handle and twisted it to the right, then the door slipped open. A foul stench blasted me in the face, followed by a small gathering of flies, what was that smell? it smelt like... It smelt like... rotting. I followed the dusty banister towards the stairs, my hand wiping all the muck and dirt of as it ran along it in tune with my body. As my feet landed on the top step, doubt ran through my mind, but I ignored it as my whole body crinched each step I took towards the Hall. The smell was acumilating from the Kitchen, so my body swung in that direction and my feet began to paddle again. I reached the door, this old wooden door. But i was to scared to open the door. What am I doing? I'm no brave hero, I'm just a wimp, a normal Kid. But No, I had to open the door. My hand shook as it brushed against the surface of the door, I gave a shove. The door creeked and snapped as it's lifeless body split from it's hinges and collapsed to the black and white tiled floor. And then I saw where this horrific stench had drifted from. There was Tainted Blood everywhere. It sucked me in, I had no chance to get away. What did I do to deserve this? A loud bang appeared as my head smacked my wall, I looked around as my mum yelled up the stairs telling me to get up. Wait, it was all a dream. No Smell. No Death. And No Tainted Blood.
